TOUR ITINERARY
Day 1
Overnight flight to to Reykjavik.
Day 2
Welcome to Iceland! Upon arrival enjoy an included lunch in Reykjavik. In the afternoon we will see the iconic Hofoi House, Perlan Restaurant and the presidential residence at Bessastadir. We'll then visit Hallgrim's Church and the University District. We pass the Old Town Center Parliament House and modern City Hall. We'll glimpse the artwork of Asmunder Sveinsson and Einar Jonsson, both famous Icelandic artists. Then you'll enjoy a free evening in Reykjavik,
Day 3 - The Golden Circle
Leave the bustle of Reykjavik behind as you travel around the Golden Circle, a ring of some of Iceland', most magnificent natural wonders. We'll stop at Thingvellir National Park, an open-air governmental assembly that was established in 930 and continued to meet until 1798. We sit down for lunch at Fridheimar Farm, where the produce is grown fresh in a greenhouse heated by geothermal energy. Then we'll explore the Great Geysir geothermal area located in the Haukadalur Valley. We'll discover Gullfoss, or the "Golden Waterfall," a natural wonder and one of the most powerful waterfalls in Europe. Then we'll visit Reykholt village, home of the medieval poet and historian, Sturluson.

Day 4 - Sightseeing Tour of the South Coast
We continue on to the South Coast, a lowland region of lush farmland, striking waterfalls, beaches, glaciers and picturesque villages. We'll make a photo stop by the Eyjafjallajokull volcano to marvel at breathtaking views (weather permitting). We view coastal mountain scenery traveling to the Seljalandsfoss waterfall for a short walk behind the falls. Then we'll enter the Skogar Museum to learn more about Iceland's cultural heritage. Then we'll marvel at the Solheimajokull glacier and iconic black sands of Reynisfjara beach before returning to Reykjavik.

Day 5 - Whale Watch
On a three-hour cruise, you'll journey into the aquatic world of whales. Keep an eye out for minke whales, orcas, humback whales and playful dolphins and porpoises. Where there are whales, sea birds are never far behind, including the gannet, puffin, guillemot razorbill, cormorant, kittiwake, sea gull, tern and many more.

Option Excursion - Blue Lagoon Spa Visit ($139 pp)
Travel to the Blue Lagoon, a famed geothermal spa known for its restorative properties. The lagoon's ligh-blue water is a mix of freshwater and sea water, and is warmed deep in the Earth before being sourced and pumped into the lagoon. Relax in the lagoon's spa, admire the surrounding lava field, and soak in beneficial minerals as you float weightlessly in the ethereal water.

Day 6 - West Iceland & Langjokull Glacier
Today we travel to Husafell, stopping en route to admire West Iceland's dramatically varied landscapes. Marvel at Deildartunguhver, Europe's most powerful hot spring. Admire Hraunfossar, clear falls that stream over a lava field, and see the nearby cascades of Barnafoss. We'll visit Reykholt, a historic village that was home to medieval writer and chieftain Snorri Sturluson.

Day 7
On the way back to Reykajavik, we'll stop in the town of Borgarnes. We visit an Icelandic settlement exhibition and learn more about Viking history.

Day 8
We transfer to the airport in Reykjavik for the flight home
